 Baby gift baskets that are "green" are a widely growing trend of the times, with all of the contents being organic. There are a multitude of organic baby items available on the market, including organic cotton clothing, bedding and bath linens, and soft organic cotton toys. Organic grooming items are available as well, including sunscreen made especially for babies.

 Nursing pillows can also be used in a baby gift basket for the mom who is breastfeeding. An unusual, but practical idea are laundry products that are designed to wash clothing and bed and bath linens, toys, etc,, for the baby. Books are always a wonderful idea for baby basket gifts, whether they are stories or poems to be read aloud, or bright and colorful picture books for baby to enjoy.

 Another good idea is to personalize items for the baby, by having the baby's name embroidered on clothing or bedding items, or perhaps a silver baby bracelet with the baby's name engraved upon it.
